Whata' morning walk! Our simply great dogs scouting the land around the farm for 'whatever' their scent can follow! And, follow those scents they certainly do. Jeff sent me off a text this afternoon proudly announcin' that Megs had another ground hog rounded up and cornered. Third one in two weeks. Jeff said she was barkin' like he never heard her bark before. He hurried to the house and dusted off "Old Betsy", walked out back and there was the hog on it's back playin' dead. Jeff stretched out his leg and gave it a quick nudge when it opened it's eyes, bared it's teeth and latched on to his work boot. That was the last meal for that hog!!
